Sonata

Sonata, by Ferdinando Carulli, is a mixed-level, classical period work. Guitar 1 is Level 8 and moves positions throughout the piece. Pay close attention to the fingerings in this part. Part 2 is an early Level 6 part with the occasional PIMA arpeggio. Part 3 should be approachable by a beginning Level 5 student. The style of this Carulli Sonata is light and delicate with abrupt dynamic/accent changes and quick crescendo/decrescendo. Trills should be uniform and light as well.
