Share Music

We want to share the very best, most fun, and inspiring music in the world with our students.

And we need your help.

If you have a solo or trio piece you think would benefit guitar students around the globe, we hope you’ll consider sharing it through GuitarCurriculum.com. The piece must be original, or an arrangement of a public domain work.

Here’s how it works:

  1. Using the form below, submit your listing information and your scores and parts.  We prefer trios and solos, written with our 9-level technical sequence in mind, and submitted as Finale, Sibelius, or XML files with MP3 or MIDI recordings.
  2. It’s gotta be your original music or your arrangement from a public domain source, and cannot be arrangements of copyright protected works (no famous pop songs, public domain source material is fine).
  3. You retain underlying copyright for original work (you can sell it, change it, license it, forever). You will also retain composer rights as pertains to performances should you choose to exercise them.
  4. You grant Austin Classical Guitar (ACG) an unlimited license to create a derivative work, based on your work, and ACG can do anything with it forever (we’ll share it through GuitarCurriculum.com, people can perform it, record it, and do things with it we can’t yet imagine).
  5. ACG will edit and format your original as we see fit for ACG’s uses.
  6. If we use it, you will be credited as composer of the derivative work.
  7. We will not publish all submissions. Successful submissions will emphasize beauty, expressivity, and playability, and will include both fingerings and dynamic indications. Remember GuitarCurriculum.com’s core principal is expressive beautiful music making from the very first day!
