This level 4 arrangement is a simple waltz with options for level 3 and level 6 students. Part 1a is level 3, leaving the rote shifts from 1b out. Part 2a is level 6, combing some of the harmonies that are divided among 1b and 2b. Part 3b is level 6. It includes several slurs in the second section.
Cornelius Gurlitt was a composer, conductor and teacher in late 19th century Germany. Despite being well received for his concert music, Gurlitt felt the desire to write music specifically for teaching. Originally for piano, this short movement is from the collection Little Flowers op. 205
