Foster Romance is an all Level 8 piece that is inspired by the Spanish Romantic style. The piece demands many different techniques including slurs, arpeggios, barring, multiple time signatures, and playing in positions one through five. This is an extremely lively work that is exciting to play. Feel free to ask your students to play rest stroke on any single line melody for projection. Teach arpeggios by first blocking chords.
