This movement from Mozart’s Serenade for Strings K. 525 is one of the most famous pieces in all of classical music. Originally in the key of G, this arrangement is in the key of D. The key change drastically reduces the number of shifts required and allows early level 8 players the chance to work on 2nd position reading. Players also work on on slurring. Slurs with dotted lines are only suggestions (to lessen technical demands).
As always, tone, dynamics and playing together are the most important aspects of the music.
