Dance of the Sugar Plum Fairy

This arrangement is suitable for players from level 5 to level 9, although level 4 players may find part 3b manageable. Part 3b includes a set of ossia measures that provide a simpler option for faster passages. An ideal performance would include at least a few player who are comfortable enough to forgo the ossias. Conduct the quick 32nd note passages with some flexibility. The quick notes act as connectors, and should not sound hurried and difficult. As always, tone, dynamics and attention to musical detail are extremely important.<br />
