Chamber Concerto for Guitar

Region:
Italy
Style:
Baroque
Composer:
Vivaldi, Antonio

Originally for Lute, two violins and basso continuo, this arrangement features a soloist and guitar trio. You may choose to invite a guest soloist, have one of your advanced students play the solo part, or assign the solo part to more than one student. This arrangement allows for a wide variety of levels. The trio parts 1a, 2a, and 3a are marked for levels 7 and 8. There are simpler versions of each trio part for level 4 players, which may be used by advanced level 3 players and beyond. This score and parts closely follow the original version, creating the potential for collaboration with bowed string instruments.
