Blue Danube

This piece is arranged to accommodate a variety of skill levels. The ideal performance will include parts 1a, 2a and 3c. However, any other combination including at least one of the 1, 2, and 3 parts is workable. This piece presents a few challenges to the students. Parts 1a and 2a contain several shifts in position that will require the player to pay close attention to the left hand fingering. These parts also contain several grace-note slurs. The students should be instructed to place all of the fingers involved in the group before plucking the notes.
