9a. Extension Timing - PIM Arpeggios

In order to play arpeggios successfully and in rapid succession, it is essential to learn extension timing. This technique requires that while one finger is executing a free stroke on one string, the other fingers of the right hand are simultaneously preparing on other strings. This video explains how to execute a PIM arpeggio, which is very prominent in guitar literature.
