This is an all level 8 piece. The thematic material is a “riff” that is repeated with some alterations at various pitch levels. The students should find that after learning the riff in one position they are able to simply move the pattern (sometimes with some alterations) to another part of the guitar in playing the following sections. Each of the three guitar parts include the opening riff at some point in the music. You can teach the students the pattern by practicing the riff as a large group before putting all three parts together.
