It has been very obvious to us recently, our guitar teaching community is larger and more connected than ever. Our Education team is coming off of a summer where we worked with over 80 amazing teachers at Summits in Austin and South Carolina, we have upcoming engagements in New York, Kentucky and Virginia, and have been hearing from a partner in China that’s using GuitarCurriculum in the most enthusiastic and beautiful ways.
Last week we checked in on zoom with some of our summer summit participants in one of hopefully a series of connections that we will maintain throughout the year. We were particularly struck by the uniqueness of each teacher’s situation. Classrooms are filled with variables that cause each moment to be directed by the students involved and resources available, this is where the magic in teaching happens, and why we’re so grateful to be a part of this journey with so many educators.
If you are curious about the follow-up session you can watch here, and if you are one of our partner teachers that would like us to be more involved in your community, please reach out to us at info@guitarcurriculum.com, we’d love to hear how we can connect!
