In this video, the ensemble plays "Spy Tune". This piece is taught by rote and allows the new guitar ensemble to perform their first piece with correct P (Thumb) Stroke and I (Index Finger) Stroke in a matter of minutes.
At this point, students are sitting correctly, performing P and I free strokes with good tone and performing with great dynamic contrast all in the first day of instruction.
