This adaptation and arrangement of a popular Francisco Tárrega solo was submitted by Joey Juarez. Joey is a classical guitar educator from the Rio Grande Valley and has served as the Director of Guitar and Estudiantina at Hanna Early College High School in Brownsville, TX, since 2020.

"This Tárrega composition was one of my early favorites—I’ve always had a fondness for minor keys. I was first introduced to it as a high school senior while preparing for auditions with Dr. Quantz at the University of Texas Rio Grande Valley. It's a rewarding experience to share some inspiration through this arrangement."
