Frosty Weather is perfect for an elementary guitar ensemble to perform for winter performances. This arrangement requires students to play simple rasgueado chords and free strokes on strings 1, 2, and 6.

Additional Notes

Some of the parts might be a challenge to play and sing simultaneously at first. Consider having only students on certain parts singing when introducing this piece. You may also have the melody played on another classroom instrument.

The teacher should model each part before teaching it to the class.

It is sometimes helpful to have a small group of students model playing the parts together so the class can hear how the parts will fit together.
